City of Albany
Keep your health and your family’s health on track.
Albany residents can be reassured that WA Country Health Services in the Great Southern are still here for you.
Our hospitals and health services across the region are safe places to be and we have increased safety and hygiene measures in place to protect you and our staff.
Now more than ever, expert advice is essential to ensure you’re well informed about your health. Don’t put off seeing your health care provider if you’re due for a check-up, feeling unwell or have a flare-up that needs attention.
If you have a regular appointment with your health service or GP, or are booking a new appointment, ask what options are available for you to attend. Many health services and GPs in the region are offering appointments via phone or video call in addition to regular face-to-face sessions.
If you are taking regular medication for management of a chronic condition like diabetes, heart disease, or asthma it is essential that you continue to take your medication. If you require PBS medicines, you can have them delivered to your home from your community pharmacy through the COVID-19 Home Medicines Service at no additional cost.
